In trying to do a clean install on my HP Elitebook 8460p Windows 7 Pro 64 bit laptop, I keep running into the same issue with two missing drivers, one for the Network Controller and one for the Base System Device.
The HP forum advised me to go into the Control Panel, device manager, properties and details and look for the hardware id.
I did this several times and also ran troubleshooter to no avail.
It told me there was none available.
It suggested I contact the manufacturer of the system which is why I am writing to you for help.
Can someone advise me how to find these two drivers?
