Adding a non-RAID drive

Hi all,

I have a third, non-RAID HDD with about 60GB of important data on it and I would like to add it to my PC to act as a D drive. When I place it in the machine and boot, IMSM sees it as an "Offline Member", which makes sense.

Can I safely reset it to non-RAID (since it already is) without putting the important data on it in jeopardy of being deleted?

If not, then what steps do I need to take to have my Windows 7 OS recognize it as a seperate drive outside of the RAID config?
