Intel Extreme Tuning Utility won't start

Hello,

I've got a new laptop (Dell Vostro 2520, with a Core i3-3120M) and I installed the Intel Extreme Tuning Utility (latest version as of yesterday) on it, but it won't start.

Each time I launch the app, I only get the standard "XTU won't launch, try to close any other tuning utility that may be running" message. Manually launching the service doesn't work, and the log stops at the same level. According to the log it fails when checking dependencies, here are the three last log entries regarding the error:

I've already tried to reinstall the Microsoft SQL Server Compact (as mentioned in another post regarding errors when checking dependencies), and tried to reinstall the application to no avail.

Thanks for any answers.

Best regards,
